Percentage
Class 1
This topic is very important in almost all competition exams. You need to clear some basic concepts before solving the question.
10 % = 1/10
25 % = 1/4
50 % = 1/2
100 % = 1
x % of y = ( x*y ) / 100
In questions, always consider the value to be 100 or x. Consider the value you want to find to be x.
for example:
Q1. find 30 % of a 560?
A. 10 % = 560 *1/10 = 56
30 % = 56 * 3
= 168
Q2. If a number is 57 % of 38. then find the number?
A. ( 38 * 57 ) / 100 = 21.66
